AS TRIVEDI HOB NOBS IN SAN FRANCISCO AND WASHINGTON, HIS PARTY LEADERSHIP VOICES SUPPORT FOR MIDDLE CLASS TAX HIKES

(Glenmoore, PA) - Over the past 10 days, left wing candidate Manan Trivedi has felt right at home - because he was at home - raising money and rubbing elbows with liberal activists in California and Washington, the two places Trivedi has lived during Jim Gerlach's entire tenure in Congress up until last fall when he decided to run for Congress. Meanwhile, Trivedi's party leadership voiced support last week for tax hikes on the middle class to fuel their record breaking big-spending agenda. Trivedi has yet to speak out against the party's position.

Trivedi's silence is to be expected, after recently being hand-picked by Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Democrat Majority Leader Steny Hoyer's campaign arm because he is a strong supporter of their big spending agenda.

Last week, Hoyer said middle class tax relief should not be "totally sacrosanct" and we need a "serious discussion" about the affordability of tax breaks.

"Maybe if Manan Trivedi had lived in Pennsylvania at some point over the last eight years he would understand why these tax cuts are so important to Pennsylvania families. The bottom line is Trivedi is just another tax-and-spend, fringe candidate who has pledged to back this massive government spending, and now middle class tax raising agenda," said Mark Campbell, spokesman for Congressman Gerlach's campaign. "Concerned voters can discover his fringe positions for themselves by logging onto our website and reviewing our candidate comparison. It is an eye opening experience."
